We have added a new addition to our little family. Russell was born on June 21, 2014. He was 7 lbs 5 oz and was 20.5 in long. He was put into the NICU for a week because of thoughts of an infection and oxygen issues. He is now very healthy and doing great. I was in labor for about 14 hours and it was hard, but luckily we had no complications. Russell has already been such a blessing to Kenny and I's lives. We are so happy to have him here. Here is a photo that we took while i was still pregnant (taken the day i went into labor) and a photo of Russell when he was newly born, and a recent photo. Also Kenny was able to help deliver him and that was a sweet experience for the both of us. It was awesome to be able to have his dad help literally bring him into the world. We couldn't be happier to have him. We love him so much.

School, update...

So as an update, Kenny and i are in school again. Kenny is taking 20 credits this semester and being such an awesome husband and working as well. I am taking 16 credits and still looking for a job. Kenny just got accepted into the Social Work Program! He is so stoked and i couldn't be prouder of him. We live here in Rexburg and love the apartment that we are in. We are so happy that we are married, especially when we see all of these single peeps walking around campus. haha. We've also been trying to work out everyday and eat better. Go us. All of my classes are about family this semester except for one, a science class. So it should be a great semester, i'm excited to learn more and to improve myself as a wife and family member. :)

New news from us....

So we're here in Utah for the rest of the Summer. We live in Midvale and we like it a lot. I think i said this before but we are attending a Tongan ward and its so awesome!! We just received callings this past sunday. I am a Laurels Advisor, and Kenny is the Temple Prep teacher. We are both pretty excited to have these callings and grow in this ward.

I have only two classes to take to receive my associates degree and thats what i plan on doing this next fall semester. Kenny is on track too and will be taking some classes as well.

Kenny is going to switch to be a tech for the pest control company, and then at nights he will be a sells man like he is right now. I have been working at the office that he works out of every night and just do some paperwork.

I have came to find a few hobbies, I've made tortillas, bread, and i even crocheted a baby blanket.

So we have decided to start taking turns on saturdays planning our date nights. Im pretty excited about it. Every saturday will start with a endowment session since that is the only time we can go since Kenny and i work every night.

Well thats us as of lately.

College life has brought such great qualities!

So, since we've been married....i have found things that i know how to do that i wouldn't have been able to if i didn't have awesome roommates. I learned cool things mostly when it comes to cooking however, those still count. Chicken 'n dumplings, meatballs, lava cake in the microwave, forts out of sheets. I am so grateful for the awesome roommates that i had and never will regret going to byui for at least that one reason. That is where i found my two BFFE. :)

My mom and I have had our ups and downs, but she has become my best friend and i'm so grateful for the relationship that we have. Growing up i remember every time my dad would give us back to school blessings, mine always blessed my mom and I's relationship because of that i know that is why we are such great friends. Lately as i have thought about her the words that stand out are charitable, and selflessness. She is such an example of Christ. I love her so much!

Old friends, new family!

     So over the last 5 years i have two new nieces, and one nephew...adopted of course because they are my best friends kids. lol.

Randi has two little girls and i adore them just as my siblings children. Paige, and Eden. Randi and i have been close friends for a long time! She married Coleman and they are an adorable family!

Then there is Steven. He too got married to Frankie and they just had a baby boy a little over a month ago. He is such a doll and my first nephew. :)

Now i have recently found out that my bestie Hailey is also pregnant and i'm so excited for her and her husband Kyler they are due in December.

I just want both of these guys to know that they are such inspiration to me and i can't wait to have kids and have them all be friends. Thanks for being such great friends and letting me be their adoptive aunt. :) even though i'm horrible and don't see any of you as often as i should. Love you!! Give my peanuts a big hug for me! 

So many things...

There are so many things i want to blog about, so....i may be long winded today but i'm gonna make several posts today. This one may be unnecessary, but....oh well heads up. lol

Life in a nutshell

So February 1 Kenny and I got married. We originally were supposed to be married on March 2 But Mitsue, Kenny's little sister, was leaving on her mission on February 6. She, Kenny, and I all wanted her to be able to attend so we changed the date and within 4 days of deciding, we were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. Our Photographer Amber Vest was extremely kind and just switched up her week as soon as we told her so that she could photograph the wedding day. So here are a couple pictures to display our Magical day.

We had such a beautiful day and wedding. Although i never thought i would get married in the winter, it was more then i could have ever asked for. So thank you to all of you who were there to celebrate with us. We had our reception a month later on our supposed to be wedding day and it was SOO much fun! So we went to Vegas for our honeymoon. That was fun and we had a blast, although we don't like the strip hahah.

Well, after being married for two months, Kenny started a new job with a company named Eco Shield. He is selling pest control in Utah until August. So we have been living here for the last month. We lived in an apt. in South Jordan for about three weeks and have just moved to Midvale now this past Saturday. Its nice to be in our first apartment and has been fun to decorate and what not. Kenny usually works from like 9:30AM-9:00 PM it basically blows. We see each other for prob around 5 hours  a day. Its tough but it makes us love one another even more. So i try to find stuff to do while he is gone because i dont have a job yet, and we JUST got internet/TV today. so now i can blog and watch netflix and stuff haha. 

 We went to Church on Sunday and we had planned to go to this Tongan ward after because i had never been to one and Kenny just wanted to check it out. All during our ward i kept feeling like we should be members of this Tongan ward. We went to sacrament there and the spirits prompting was definitely confirmed. It was an awesome meeting and everyone was so welcoming and kind. We are so excited to be apart of the ward. I can't understand everything that people say there because their accents are pretty strong haha. But i am working on learning hymns in Tongan and practice everyday.

MARRIED

Wooh!! WE're married! for almost 3 months now but hey, hahah quick post because i don't have much time. We love being married and its pretty much the best. i swear i will write more tomorrow or sunday or something :) haha more to come on whats been going on in our lives. love you all. 

The wonderful story of our future! (from me)

Well, first i think i need to say that i am not going on a mission to Arkansas, but i will be serving a mission here as a full time wife and i am stoked about it! 

Kenny and I met in High School. I was a junior and he was a senior. I was a cheerleader and we were putting on a patent that was called Mr.Fabulous. This is where the four schools in Idaho Falls come together and the top three guys who won "Mr.(their schools name)" from each school compete to be Mr. Fabulous. Well Kenny was a part of this and i was over it, so that is how we met. 

After this i never saw him again, until i came to BYU-I and i saw him at devotional one day during spring of 2011. I was pretty excited but i was too nervous to go talk to him so i just stalked him for the next week or so at devotional. I finally found him on Facebook and we decided to meet up to chat since we hadn't seen each other in about 4 years. I was SOOO nervous. It was fun to catch up on his life. 

In the summer of that year right before fall semester started we started talking and decided we should hang out during the semester. We ended up dating and things were GREAT best guy i have ever dated, he made me sooo happy. Then we said we loved each other right after Christmas of that year and started off the new year together. We dated on and off this whole time and have been for about a little over a year. We re-united again this semester and my feelings were that i always knew i was going to marry him from the first time we dated. So we shared our feelings and he eventually asked me to just stay home and not go on a mission to marry him. 

This whole time i knew i was going to marry him, so deep down inside this is what i always wanted to happen, i just wanted him to ask me to stay home and be his wifey. :) Well when the time came it was a little harder than i expected, but i pretty much knew what i was going to choose. 

Kenny and i went down to IF where we are both from and i talked to my parents, and then he came over and we all talked and my dad gave him permission. The next day, little did i know...he bought the ring. So we go home again for thanksgiving break on Tuesday and i go to the temple that night to just make for sure that this is what i am supposed to be doing. I went with my dad and we both just felt good about the idea. I text Kenny and told him we needed to talk... <--just like that. I wanted to make him fret a bit ;)muahhahahah. Then i told him that i was going to stay home to marry him and we spent the whole thanksgiving break together. I have never been so happy or so sure about something in my life. 

I love him so much! I can't imagine what my life would be like without him forever. 

WELL....here is the good stuff. Over thanksgiving break we re-wrote the song called "If i was your man" and so Sunday night we drove home and we watched the polar express. <3 Last time we watched this he asked me to be his girlfriend. So after the movie he said lets go for a drive. So we go to this parking lot where pretty much all of our intense conversations have happened in our relationship. We're sitting there and he said lets practice our song. So, we start singing, well the first line is "If i asked for your hand one day" so we sang the song all the way through with that line. Then he changed the lyrics to "If i asked for your hand today" and we sang that all the way through. But THEEEN he pulls this white box out of his pocket, sets it on his knee and i start crying. He changes the song to "If i asked for your hand right now" then said my name in it and something about wife. :)) this is one happy girl. I loooove when he sings to me. Back to the story, so he comes around to my door and i get out and he gets on his knee and says he loves me and wants to be with me forever, and more sappy stuff haha and asks if i will marry him. Of course i said YES! So, that is my side of the story. I will try to get him to write his. We are planning on getting married February 22, 2013 <3. I can not wait to spend forever and eternity with him. Love of my life, my soulmate....he's my best friend. Here is the ring :)

Jeremy: He was always such a pest growing up. My mom always has said that we are the most alike. We are 9 years apart and don't really have much in common these days, however i look up to him a lot. I never thought he would grow up to be such a remarkable man. If i could choose two people i would want my husband to be like it would be him and my father. They are the best. I thank Jer for being such a good example to me. Thanks for everything!
Jessica: She is like my second mom, best friend, best sister ;], my hero, my idol...etc. All growing up, well even still i have always looked up to her. I always wanted to be just like her, borrowed her clothes to look like her, Cheered because she did it, i would beg her to let me sleep with her at nights and on the night before holidays. She was always such a great example to me as a little sister. She taught me so much. She was truly like a little second mom. Everything i didn't learn from my mom i learned from her. Now she is a mother of 3. A wonderful wife and still the greatest sister anyone could ask for. I really have so much love for her. She is the greatest. She amazes me in all she does. Thank you!
Cody: We never really got along all that great growing up. We were the two who would argue all the time. The typical brother little sister relationship. Then Freshman year he was a Senior and we drove to school together every day and went to lunch sometimes together. It was so much fun. That is when we became best friends. He is such a great guy and has been through a lot! I look up to him so much as well. He deserves the best in life and i really love spending time with him. We have a lot of fun together! Love you bro!
My in-laws are great as well and i love them both a ton! Lisa and Dustin both. They help me out a lot.
I love all of my siblings soooo much and i would honestly do anything for any of them. We have a pretty tight bond and i know that they would do anything for me in return. I have such a great love for all of them. I am who i am today thanks to the parts of them that are in me. Thank you for everything!

I've been thinking about going on a mission for some time now and have been wondering if it was for sure what i should be doing with my life right now or what, So since i had been contemplating i've been praying and so forth. The other night i am in bed and i open the scriptures to D&C 108. (Read it)

Basically was the moment i realized it was time to start my papers. So tomorrow May 17 I will be talking to the bishop getting my papers started. :] Wish me luck!

Well, let me put it this way...I have more than one best friend so i'll talk about a few.

Jesus Christ is my best best friend! He has done so much for me and continues to do the same throughout my whole life. He will never leave me alone and is always there when i need him. I love him with all my heart!

Kylee my dearest, you see, her and i are like uhm, oh i don't know. Something good! haha I love her unconditionally. No matter where we end up in life nothin will or does change between us. Across the united states or right down the road were in it forever! We had this little vaca in Cali and it was such a blast! We are so much like each other sometimes its scary! love you ky

Hailey, well we've been through quite a bit. Thick or thin...together we're in. She is such a blast. Through all our changes in life, different places i've lived we have remained very close friends. I guess by now "best friends" doesn't really fit us...it's more like Sisters. I love you Hai! &lt;3

Ella, She is my little 5 & 1/2 yr old niece. OOOH boy is she a blast. She is so smart and will always tell me the truth. She gets so excited to hang out and i love when i get to see her! She is always keeping a smile on my face. haha she should truly be on kids say the darndest things cuz she is HILARIOUS!

Jessica, Well you see...we started out as strangers, became acquaintances found out we kinda come from the same place lol and then were roommates, now best friends/roommates lol. She has continued my adventure in life. She has only brought good things to my life and i will forever be thankful for her! She is so beautiful and such an amazing woman. K.C., Well you see he and i have been talking for quite some time now and have been through a lot. He is usually always there when i need him. I could call him at like four in the morning and pretty much count on him answering the phone. He has taught me so much and i am grateful for him! He has been through quite a bit and never gives up, and for that he is one of my hero's. <3 you

Ashlee, she is the one who befriended me when i had no one else and for that i will forever be in debt to her. We had so much fun together and made some really grate memories. She is such a good example and i am so thankful that i get to call her my best friend.

Kaels, We met in a really random way but for that it just makes our relationhip even better. Our friendship was long distance for quite some time. I went to AZ for her baptism and it was such a blast. She is like my sister from another mother. Even though we don't get to talk much or see each other, She is always crossing my mind. Miss you Kaels!

Kayla, We have a uniqe relationship. We've been friends and we haven't been friends. lol It's quite different. But through it all, were there for eachother when we need it most. She is a strong girl and a good example. I'm thankful to have her in my life!

Wez, oooh man. Wez and I met at Disney World. We worked together and didn't really get very close until it was pretty much time for me to leave. I love him. He is so great. He is such a good example for guys and me. He is a very true friend and will cheer me up when i'm feeling down. It really sucks because we live on different sides of the world, but we do what we gotta do. We're friends for life. I have a really hard time being home and not in FL to hang out with him but it'll all be ok. Love you wez! xx Miss you!

She is my very very very best friend. We can have fun shopping, going on a road trip, i can call her at three in the morning and guarantee she is there to answer no doubt. She will do anything that will make me happy or to make my life even better than it already is. Despite the arguments we have sometimes, she is such a great friend! If i had a bridesmaid i think i would have my mom because she is truly the best friend i have. Thank you mom for everything! I love you so much!

oh my dear and sweet parents....here we go.

DAd: My dad is one of my biggest heros. First as long as i can remember he has always worked monday through friday SUPER early to six thirty. He is always the best dad. He is there when i want to talk about something. Always sending little messages to let me know how much he cares. I have learned so much from him. When we were younger he would always invite us to go to the gas station and get a treat when he needed a pepsi. My dad has always been extremely faithful in the church and has a very strong testimony that makes him strong as a person. He loves my mom so much and would do anything for her and that is one reason that makes him such a great husband. I want to marry someone who is like my dad. He has such a great sense of humor and is super social...sometimes too friendly. I have so many fun memories with him and would just like to thank him for everything. Love you popsicle!

MOm: Well, first of all...my mom and i have a very unique relationship. We've had our hard times, and our good times and we still have them both probably close to once a week haha. I sometimes get impatient with her and forget she is my mother who is looking out for me. My mom is also one of my biggest heros. Also one of my very best friends. I love her so much. She is such a great mother and has taught me so much. She cares soo much sometimes it makes me go crazy. She has a hard time letting me grow up wich also drives me nuts sometimes but it's ok because when i think about getting married and how things would be different, my feelings are different. My mom also has such a strong testimony in the church and i love her so much for that because she has made me stronger. She has always been there every step of the way. Being scared in the middle of the night. Crying over a boy in the middle of the night. Being sick in all hours of the night. If i call she will be there and i would do the same for her. She loves my dad a lot and is so grateful for everything that he does for her and would do anything for him. THank you mom.

I love my parents so much and look up to them a lot. I don't know where i would be without them, and if i got to choose different parents and re-start again i would choose them all over again.
